On September the 20th my mom and little brother visited Japan for the first time. Everything was very new to my mom. Food was new, transportation was new, and so were the people of course. She was surprised that you could find so much useful stuff and good food at convenient stories here. Mostly we have just junk food at convenient stores in America. She thought the train system was great, and she thought most places seemed fairly clean on the streets. She enjoyed her visit．

9月20日から母と弟が初めて日本に来ました。

台風の影響を心配しましたが大丈夫。滞在中、母たちにとって食べ物、交通機関、もちろん日本に住んでいる人達すべてが新鮮だったようです。母は生の魚が苦手な以外は何でもチャレンジしていました。

弟は、たくさんの便利なものや美味しい食べ物がコンビニで入手できることに驚いていました。

アメリカのコンビニにはジャンクフードくらいしか売っていませんから。

僕と三人で出かけた広島への旅行の際の鉄道のシステムがすごいことと、道路がとてもきれいに整備されていることに二人とも驚いていました。（妻はまだ子供が小さいので留守番でした。）

初めての日本滞在は大いにエキサイティングだったようです。
